Ultrasound – Hypertrophic Pyloric Stenosis PREPARATION

If your doctor gave you a requisition, please bring that with you on the day of your exam, along with your health card.

• Do not feed infant 2-3 hours prior to the appointment to ensure infant is hungry for their appointment time.
• Bring a bottle or be prepared to breastfeed while at appointment, even if it’s a small amount.
• Images will be taken feeding and if required, may be taken again after feeding.
• Dress infant in loose clothing the day of the exam.
